BIG ARMS MIGHT GET YOU TO THE RACE, BUT YOUR BRAIN WILL GET YOU THE GOLD
On that fateful day, Hugh and I were not in the lead. To say it bluntly – we were all the way in the back, for the majority of the race. This was by design. We knew the race wasn’t going to be won at the starting line; we knew it would come down to the team with the steadiest pacing, patience, and knowing when to strike.
We won in a distinctively Canadian way – by using our brains to enhance our brawn. In this section is where I will share my thoughts on motivation, leadership, and of course my favourite sport after sport: business.
